Welcome to Dover Behavioral Health
With more than 100 beds, Dover Behavioral Health System is comprised of a mental health treatment facility located in picturesque Kent County, in Delaware’s state capital of Dover, as well as a separate outpatient facility in Georgetown.
Dover Behavioral Health System delivers comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults. Offering a wide referral network of providers throughout the Delmarva area, we are structured to meet the continuum of care needed by our patients, their families and professional partners alike.
Our patient rooms are safe, comfortable and welcoming while our community rooms are spacious enough to interact and socialize or, if preferred, to relax and read. Multi-modal therapies are available including art, music, meditation and movement. Specialty adult programs for trauma and dual diagnosis are also available. For adolescents, classrooms are located within treatment units, so that students may continue their work with certified teachers throughout the academic year.
